I Have A Specific Sizing Question

Many have been asking example questions like “What if I’m a medium in all measurements except my waist where I’m an XL? What size should I get?” When selecting the jacket you should get the jacket that fits your largest measurement. In this example you should select the XL size. Some might be worried about this, but due to the athletic cut of the jacket it still is a flattering look compared to box cut jackets. Also note that things like the sleeves are the most forgiving measurement. If they are a little long, it will be much less noticeable than being an inch small on the waist.

Most Up To Date Jacket - Fabric Updates

Recently many have been asking about the possibility of the LoftTek insulation leaking out of the jacket’s fabric. Of the 30+ prototype jackets we have used and sent out to be tested, we have now had 2 jackets where the insulation has leaked through the outer fabric. For that reason we updated the outer fabric with an additional coating to prevent any possibility of insulation beginning to leak through the outside fabric. We made a few other minor changes as well like increasing thumbhole size, etc. These changes will add more windproofing to the jacket, but cut down slightly on breathability of the outside fabric. The prototype we have like this is a great jacket and we are excited to get it to you! For those that were the first 1000 backers please see the FAQ titled “First 1,000 Jackets”.

First 1,000 Jackets

Some of you may have been aware that we had started to produce a batch of 1,000 jackets during the kickstarter campaign that are expected to ship in January. These jackets are just like the jackets we tested and sent out to influencers for testing. What we have found is that 2 of the 32+ jackets we have sent out have had issues of leaking insulation.

While we haven’t experienced any level of leaking insulation similar to theirs in our own testing, we decided to make a change to the jackets fabric to keep it from having this issue with anyone in the future.

We pride our selves on providing premium quality products. For that reason, anyone that would qualify for a jacket in the first batch will have a choice to take a jacket on the first batch for the early ship date of January or wait for the second batch of jackets with the updated fabric.

All jackets, even the first batch of jackets are still covered under our Lifetime Limited Warranty so if you experience issues with your jacket we will still stand behind it!

If you qualify for a jacket in the first batch we will email you asking if you would like to wait or get the a jacket out of the first batch. We will not ship the jacket until we get a response on your decision! We hope this shows our backers how important quality is to us and how important it is to us that our backers get the experience they paid for.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
